About Us

South Wootton Preschool strives to ensure our children are at the centre of everything we do by making sure they feel happy, safe, and respected.
Our aim is that the children will be motivated to ask questions and that their views, ideas, and opinions will be valued and promoted. We offer opportunities to develop children’s self-esteem, confidence, and resilience by providing challenges to accommodate their individual abilities and diverse needs.
We believe that every child has unique talents which may take different forms however these are equally valued and encouraged. Staff are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment whilst continuously updating their knowledge and understanding, which ensures all children are reaching their full potential and best possible outcome.
We strongly advocate our outdoor environment as it offers resources that enable the children to take risks, use their imagination and develop an understanding and respect for our natural world.
We greatly believe in effective communication with parents by keeping them informed with their children’s progress and achievements in order to enhance their learning, development, and wellbeing.
We are open term time only and offer 4 morning sessions Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:30 to 11:30 and 4 afternoon sessions, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 12:00 to 15:00. Children can attend an am or pm session or both.
We take all children from the age of 2 years up to 4 years. We are a registered early years provider and are eligible for Early Years funding for 2, 3 & 4 year olds. All our staff are highly qualified and experienced practitioners, many have been with the pre-school for a long period of time. All staff have clear DBS certificates and keep their paediatric first aid training up to date.
